Could I use this burner on NG?

Ha! Thanks greyghost! I guess I didnt dig deep enough into the site to find the NG burners. Would a 10 tip on NG be enough burner to work with a keggle? Or should I be looking for a 23 tip?

Kamado cookers thread (green egg, kamado joe, primo etc)

My turkey turned out fantastic! I also threw on a slab of salmon I brined and then drizzled with maple syrup and brown sugar. I'm not a salmon fan, but that turned out amazing. More salmon is in my future

Could I use this burner on NG?

This one. http://www.bayouclassicdepot.com/618lp-10-jet-propane-jet-burner.htm I'd like to run NG on my build, and I was wondering if this is NG capable. It says it will run off low pressure, but not sure about tip sizes with NG. (if that even matters) I dont know a lot about tip...

    Stirplate Question

I think he is saying he has a 110v fan, not a 12v. I think a dimmer would work just fine. But like Bearclaw said, make sure there isnt any exposed wiring. if 110v gets wet, your going to have a bad time.

Kamado cookers thread (green egg, kamado joe, primo etc)

I have a Kamado Joe. I love it. My previous smoker was a UDS I built. It worked just fine, but I wanted something nicer that I could use in the inter as well. Thea heat got sapped from the UDS really quickly in MN winters. Funny how -20 will make your smoker cold. It will probably do the same to...

Belgian Tripel Belgian Trippel (2006 World Beer Cup Gold Medal: Dragonmead Final Absolution clone)

I did find it all in 1 place. Midwest Supplies is my local homebrew shop. They had everything. I made my own Belgian Candy Sugar however. They did have it for sale, but I couldnt bring myself to pay the price they wanted for it when its so easy to make. I did have to sub Czech Saaz. I dont...

Belgian Tripel Belgian Trippel (2006 World Beer Cup Gold Medal: Dragonmead Final Absolution clone)

I made an extract version of this yesterday. I did the extract because I just wanted a fast, no fuss brew. It was a piece of cake. had my 2L starter ready, and dropped it into my 1.093 OG brew. Had vigorous action in just a few hours. I used fermcap to try to keep the krausen down, it still...

Virtual Tour of Canal Park Brewing Company

Very cool! I'd love to stop by for a tour sometime. I grew up 60 miles north of Duluth, and my folks still live there. I live in the Cities, and I get up there alot. Thats a sweet system. All of that automation has to make brewing nice and smooth.

    Igrill app for iphone

I have an iGrill as well. I bought it for the smoker. It works great for that. I'd think in some form of a thermowell it would work for brewing.

What is the closest Wisconsin town to Minneapolis that i can buy new glarus beer?

Good to know! I might have to make a trip there someday. I'm all the way on the west side of the cities, but hey. Its worth a trip I bet.

    Adding mint

I had that beer at All Pints North in Duluth last year. It was my favorite beer there. Got my vote for best in show. The mint flavor in it was perfect. BTW, great user name.. Car RamRod!

3 FLoyds Zombie Dust attempt. Help/info requested

Cracked into mine this weekend. Its a great beer. Having no reference for what the real thing is like, I can only say that its a a solid beer by itself. I would have liked it to be a bit maltier, and have a little more mouthfeel, but those problems could have been a result of my brewing...

3 FLoyds Zombie Dust attempt. Help/info requested

I did the extract version the other weekend. I did a partial mash on the grains however. I added the DME at the end of the boil. They didnt burn or darken. I just put it in the keg to cool in the fridge until I carbonate tonight, but the color looked good. Even being warm and uncarbonated, I...
