We were here this weekend as well. I love your brewery.
We were also there not to long after you opened. Lots more equipment back there now. I think it was just 2 fermernters and at the time.
I forgot to update this thread. I'm drinking this right now. Definitely not a clone, but a great beer none the less. When I brew this next time, I will keep the same hopping schedule, but cut the grain back to thin it out some. Its too malty. It does taste like liquid citrus though on the first...
I have mine punched up high, then started low, just above the dip tube.
Because mine is down low, there is still a siphon effect if the hose from your pump goes below fluid level.
Other than that, mine whirlpools just fine.
I want to give this a shot.
I'm not a biologist, or anyone who deals with mass conversion on a daily basis. So I got lost in the calculations.
Simps,
Assuming your calculations are appropriate (I'm not saying correct, that doesnt matter, the end result matters more than the method you used to...
I have an Igrill. I love it. Combined with my Auberinc temperature controller, I know what temp everything is at whenever I want. And I can sleep through the night on long cooks and not have to worry about it shooting over/under on the temps!
I have no problems with cans. I have enough bottles around for bottling, and if I didnt I dont mind paying a couple bucks for a case of them. I'll reuse them and recoup my cost in the long run.
A local brewery has a Cucumber Basil Saison. Its pretty good. The cuke flavor is in the background, but its definitely there. The basil flavor is pretty light. Its a nice beer, good for a hot day
Nope. Definitely doesnt have to be May to brew. But the thread being that old....
I did brew this weekend, the Axeman inspired beer.
For some reason my efficiency was really low. First time Ive been off by that many points. Not sure what went wrong. But added some DME and got it back on track...
I'll be brewing this weekend.
I know its not May, but still!
Doing a Tood the Axeman inspired beer. I'm not trying to call it a clone, just a very similar beer.
I was supposed to do it last weekend.. But life happens..
I have first year hops too. I have way more cones than I expected for the first year. Might get 1/2# between 2 plants?
I was expecting none or maybe a handful, but they are doing well.
I'm going to try my hand at this the weekend.
Not shooting for a prefect clone, just something very similar.

I havent all 381 pages to find this our for myself, so I'll ask and hopefully if its been asked 200 times already, someone will be nice enough to answer it the 201st time!
I dont have a dedicated ferm chamber yet. Its on the list of things....
