    quick question on beersmith and grainfather, on the mash tab below mash there is a selection for "adjust temp for equip" Do we click that or leave it be? it bumps the strike water like 3f if its clicked..

    Gelatin

    Gelatin is a great way to combat "chill haze" and imo i dont think it efffects flavour/aroma at all... Just make sure you use it properly. Room temp water sprinkle the gelatin in slowly and let it absorb the water for a few minutes then microwave it for a couple minutes to sanitize it. cheers.

    i tried to change my hysterisis and i can get to F04 but i cant make a change to the value... and now my set light tries to maintain a low temperture not the high one! like my burner comes on if i set my temp to 100 f and my water is at 150... WTF

    whats the problem with just chucking the pellet hops in the boil, i only ever use a muslin bag if i got leaf hops in there... after the boil i let the kettle sit for a bit and all that hot break and pellet junk sinks to the bottom and i pump my wort out 1" from the bottom leaving behind all that...
