    ^ - agree. I was using ss brewbuckets for a while. They were nice but it got to the point where i just couldn't stand not being able to see what was happening in there. switched to a fermzilla and happy so far.

    Are we talking about the recoverable deadspace or the deadspace losses? The way I understand it, for the 35L version, I believe the recoverable deadspace is .66 gal but the deadspace loss is 0 (or close to it). Since it has a center drain, the only deadspace loss would be what is left in the tubing

    Did you ever find a good source for this info? I've been brewing for 15 years and have done several BA stouts using oak chips, but I finally want to try the real deal. Lots of questions regarding using an actual barrel...

    thats what I did. mounted a nukatap forward sealing tap to my beer fridge door with a duotight adapter on the back end. so I can plug up any of the kegs to it and then mount the counterpressure filler to the front

    To be honest, I use the NukaTap version of the counter filler by Kegland but it is basically the same thing as the Tap Cooler

    Couldn't agree more. I've really nailed down my o2 processes. Bottled some hazies using a tap cooler and they were still fresh and tasty 3 months later
