When I got back from my road trip (moving Dad 2k miles) had the lager book and several magazines waiting for me to read about what Other People are doing in beer (since I am not doing anything atm) :mug:
Whew, 10 pages of what others have been drinking, accomplished! Moved Dad from MO to Reno, NV, in approximately 9 days. No time to stop and taste on the way (or read HBT), unfortunately; had one tasty IPA at Altitude in Laramie, WY. Not what I had planned for a 2,000 mile trip, but as a...
Since no one else mentioned this yet, I am going to caution against using pasta unless you know whether it was made with eggs or not. The fats in the yolk are a great binder for the flour, but might damage head retention in your beer. YMMV.
This is beautiful, my garage brewery is very...closely put together. Do you have enough venting for steam? I have to brew with the door open, and because of kettle placement, that means no brewing when it's raining or windy.

Well, the plan has already changed; guess we are going the north side of the Rockies to hit NorCal instead. So, St. Louis, Mo to Southern Nebraska to Southern Wyoming to Salt Lake City, Utah to Northern Nevada to Sacramento, CA.
Any suggestions for good food or drink are welcomed!
No picture, but a couple fingers of Proper 12 once I made it to the hotel after a long work-trip day. Only 3 more days to go. At least I can listen to some Irish Trad while I hammer out some documents (Arcady, Lunasa, Kila, Chieftains).
Drove down to San Diego to see Mom’s show at the Visions Museum of Textile Art.
Lunch at Stone Liberty Station
Dinner pick up at Pizza Port on the drive back
Greetings,
Heading to St. Louis, MO, and then driving back through OK, North TX, NM, AZ, and back to SoCal. Please post your recommendations for what breweries my sister and I should stop at on our BeerVenture!
Peace,
Reevesie
