    I used a starter for my yeast. Should I aerate the wort normally as if I would if I was pitching from the pack??

    Quick question about hydrometer sample

    Tomorrow will be my first time brewing in about 6 months. Just wanna be clear. I take a sample, get OG, pitch yeast, take another sample to be able to check later. I think thats what I used to do.

    Ok so Ive never done a starter...so use a 1/2 cup of my dme 2 cups of water boil cool pitch yeast and cover? That it? Can I use it tomorrow?

    Well I only have enough dme for my recipe...is it ok to use some of that to make a starter? I have never used liquid yeast before so I have never made a starter.

    Hey guys im getting back into brewing and im about to brew a nut brown ale. I recently just moved into a new house and its draftier than my previous place. It seems that the room I want to ferment in gets maybe 65 at peak and 62 at night. I will be using a wyeast british strain suggesting 64-75...
