well reassembly is now in progress then i need to decide on a kit or parts to turn this puppy into a 2 tap kegerator any sugestoins

yes gave the internals a tune up before stripping it down putting a new digital thermostat in. the mechanical thermostat that was in it originally was off by 15 degrees when testing it out so going with a digital one. also got these tap handles

Now that is just the black coat i plan on filling the ge emblem with red instead of white and doing some red pin striping for a finishing look but i think this is a good start and i gotta thank kerber for his help with a few little things on tearing the fridge down.

that was before when i just got done stripping the fridge here it is with some paint on it

Hey guys a few months ago i got an old fridge and decided to kegerator it. Well after seeing Kerber on here with his awesome job restoring a very similar fridge I thought I would do it right and strip it down. so i have some of my paint job done so i am posting some pics to see what you guys think.

Hey guys I found this community when looking at building a kegerator. I now want to start brewing all grain and have been using this as my main reference point to get started. So thanks for the awesome forum and great people ill be around looking for advise and gear as i go. :tank:

That is an AMAZING set up but I'm thinking propane and basic i got a old keg I'm going to use as a keggle. but I am really looking for a cheap effective start.

Thanks, I plan on taking my time and getting a good kegerator out of it. Its my first build. any advise from doing this project that you can think of to help before I get going. I plan on cursing this forum for best taps and things of that nature.

Hey i just got a GE fridge just like yours any advise on removing the door and the chrome pieces. The chrome all looks good and the fridge works just want to remove what I can before sanding and painting it.
