    Why does all Samuel Adams Beer Taste Bad?

    Their best beer, Brick Red, is only available on tap in the greater Boston area. I do enjoy the Boston Lager and Boston Ale as well. But I will say that some of their newer stuff is just ok at best.

    Relax & let it ride. Without knowing mash temp its hard to tell if it was in your process. Make a note to remember to stir before taking a sample next time.

    Styles of Beer You Just Can't Stand

    Smoking Newbie

    ^^^^THIS^^^ I have smoked a several boston butts, ribs, chicken, brisket, you name on my Weber kettle. Look for the snake method of smoking on youtube, it absolutely works. I think I have gone 7 hours before having to add charcoal.

    What brewery are you visiting?

    Visited Grand Rounds BrewPub in Rochester a few weeks ago. Loved the peanut butter stout & their Hop Bollocks Session IPA. Great bar food and the atmosphere was fantastic. Wish we had something like it close to home.

    Same here. I did it many times with no problems before I upgraded to 5 gallons. I never had a problem with oxidation.
