    I think the initial main reason behind chilling ASAP was the faster you chill to pitching temps, the faster you can pitch your yeast.     Check out Lazy Magnolia while passing through Biloxi MS. It is off of I-10 near Bay St Louis which is a little West of Biloxi. They where the first brewery in Mississippi & by far the largest in terms of production. The beer is pretty tasty as well!:D

    While they do mean the same thing, technically MSDS is no longer used thanks to the Globally Harmonized System(GHS). SDS is the correct terminology.
