    O.K. so here it is...its been eight days in the bottle and i just had to try one..!! Tasted real good slight hop bitterness at the finish but pretty good head and carbonation. Im sure it will only get better from here!!

    @ packerfaninsandeaigo my instructions said two weeks in the primary I waited three. If there is one thing I learned from this forum it's patience patience patience. It also said two weeks in the bottles I'm waiting three.... Again patience patience patience.....

    I did northern brewers American wheat extract kit. I want to get a few batches under my belt before I try all grain. Maybe we could pm each other and grab a couple of brews sometime.

    Yes that is exactly how I feel. I wound up 43 bottles so I sort of have an "extra" I plan on drinking after two weeks just to see how there coming along. The rest will sit for another long week.

    I plan on bottle conditioning for about three weeks then into the fridge. Due to fridge space limitations some will probably sit a little longer does anyone see any issues with this?

    Oh I def can't wait.... I'm trying ... I drank a few sips when I took my OG ....tasted like beer flat and warm beer but still beer...

    Ok so it's been about nine days since my first brew day. The bubbling in the air lock stopped after about four days. The instructions say to ferment for two weeks I plan to wait just under three before taking a couple FG readings about three days apart.Then bottle conditioning for about two...

    Just finished brewing my first ever brew. NB's Americain wheat extract kit. Everything seemed to go really well, now we wait and see....gonna be a long couple of weeks :mug:

    You ain't kidding..!!! It was Northern brewer and they replaced it no questions asked and they did upgrade the shipping to second day air. It should be here wednesday..... Hopefully in one piece.

    Well I tell ya I can't wait for Saturday so I can get started I've been getting ready for this for about a month or so but my hopes were literally shattered when my primary carboy arrived in a hundred pieces..!!!!
