Purchased beer keg won't flow at all

Well I took the keg back. Unfortunately they didn't have another. I asked them to test this one. They put my tap on it. It flows fine. We both think it had a yeast blockage. I do remember now there was some cream colored stuff coming out initially. We think the shaking from moving it around...

Purchased beer keg won't flow at all

Yes thank you, Gauge shows full... I know it is and the other faucets flow. I also used a spare full tank to no avail. I'm going to take it back today still assuming I am doing something wrong and let them verify.

Purchased beer keg won't flow at all

I have the "D" style US tap and have been using it for over a year... probably went through over 5 sixtles. I also home brew using cornys but like to buy a local craft brewed keg especially when I'm running low. So I tapped this thing and nothing. Checked all of the standard things like gas...

    That's why I use a 10 gallon boil kettle.

When did you stop extract brewing?

I brew like it's all grain. Bought kits from various companies and all of the instructions are 1 hr boil. Keg Connection (HomeBrewSupply) I think has the best kits. They are put together per order and very generous with supplies.

Overcarbed Keg? Here's an INSTANT SOLUTION!

I use a liquid (black) ball lock and attach my 30 psi co2 to the liquid post when I force carb. That way the co2 comes in at the bottom and bubbles up through the beer. If it gets overcarbed I do the same... Just slowly pull the relief valve and pour beers without it being hooked up to gas.

When did you stop extract brewing?

If only water is removed and then added back... I would be interested in what changes occur and what difference the wort from DME and the wort from a mash would be. After that you boil the crap out of it. I do extract mainly because if it got any more complicated as far as more equipment and...

When did you stop extract brewing?

Been brewing for 3 years extract. I don't plan on switching as I also have other hobbies and responsibilities and just don't feel like adding another step... another vessel and such. I get the pure thinking and totally respect it. It's in all hobbies. I can only compare my beers to brewery...

The Stasis - A glycol system designed for homebrewers - Pre-Order now for $599

I think I read a height difference is not good. Pumps have what's called a maximum head. Try putting them on the same level.

I've been posting on forums literally for 25 years. Different hobbies, radio control helicopters, diesel trucks, corvette forums and such. You learn a certain etiquette when it comes to posting about vendors and products, especially early on. We usually keep our ranting to private conversations...

If it happens to me I'll open it up and fix it. Don't care about voiding warranty. A rattle is just something loose.

BTW Craft a Brew got back to me about the tube size. It's 5/16" That's why my quick disconnects are good for this size. The fittings I made to seal the TC worked out good. Mods are done. Just brewing now. Probably will get a heating setup in the future.
