    Locally for me gelatin and bentonite is very similarly priced. Gelatin is more readily available. Bentonite is a good vegan alternative as gelatin is made from animal collagen.

    Give it a good stir when adding grains and making sure no dough balls. I then add may brewing salts half way through and give it a stir.

    Hell I say go for it. You mentioned BIAB so no rice hulls needed. I have made a roggenbier a few times and I do BIAB. As mentioned traditionally roggenbier is made with at least 50% rye. I find 50% overpowering and do not use more than 30% based on my personal taste, others may not have an issue...

    Can I throw together a grain bill with these leftovers?

    50% 2 Row 30% Flaked oats 10% White Wheat 5% Pilsner 5% Carafoam Quite a few combination with hops, all will work with a NEIPA in my opinion. Do not know NZH-107

    I use 2 converted 50L (approx 13 gallons) aluminum kegs. One for mash tun and one for brew kettle. Use high BTU gas burners. I use a voile bag especially made to size in mash tun. From start to finish including cleaning 4 hours

    I have has some bad feedback and good feedback from research on web as the use of flow control disconnects for corny keg. What is the opinion of fellow keggers ?. If using flow control disconnects what model / brand are you using ?. Are disconnects a universal size ? i.e. will fit any corny keg ?.

    Clarity All other aspects of brewing gets a lot of attention. Over the years I have dialed in my process and turn out great beers, this from friends and family. For me taste is everything and clarity is at the bottom of the list.
