anyone ever use lemon Balm in a brew??

I haven't used lemon balm, but I have used sorachi ace hops, which also give a lemony aroma. If this doesn't work, you may try using those instead. I don't know if boiling the lemon balm leaf for 45 minutes is the best way to go, you may lose all the aroma and flavor out of it.

    OR/WA Brew Day v2.0??

I'm up for it. You wanna make a kriek again, or make something else? Something that would definitely benefit from oak and roselare for sure.

    Buying a New Barrel

I would think if the barrel is full of mold that no sanitation would make any good beers out of that. You could always kill it with fire though! No seriously, re-char the inside to make it oak-y again(although I think you'd have to take the bottom out to do so, not an easy prospect). Also be...

Best bar in Vegas to get a "good" beer?

You may be thinking of Nine Fine Irishmen near NYNY. I've been there, and I liked the place. Definitely better than BMC for sure.

    OR/WA Brew Day v2.0??

I will be there at 10 AM today as well with two kegs in tow. I've thought about blending that other batch I made with this one, it could be interesting.

    Coleman Xtreme Drain Assembly

Awesome, thanks for that! I could have used it when I built my first mash tun and fauked up the nozzle hole.

Sizzling keg, am I scorching my wort?

What you're hearing is the water boiling out of the bottom rim of the keg. I hear it all the time when I've started my boil.

What, no love for George Michael?

How long does it take you to do an AG brew?

It takes me about 4 hours, up to 6 if I don't do everything below. Some things I do to cut down the brewday is: Measure and grind the grain and measure hops the day before I use hot water out of the tap instead of starting with cold I warm my mash and sparge water on the stove with two 5...

First time cider-er. To Press, or not to Press?

Freezing breaks up the cell walls of the fruit making it easier to get the juice out of them. What I did with pears ages ago was froze and thawed them, and they turned into a mushy mess. I then took the goop and pressed it to get as much juice out as I could. Seriously I would consider using...

    Does my drill suck?

The secret to drilling SS is just like anal sex... go slow, use lots of lube, and steady pressure.

Type A personality alert! Distance from taps to front?

What're those things on the ends of the tap nozzles for?

    Nuclear Carboy??

Yea but think about how big your pee stream will be towards the end, just before your junk dissolves away completely.

Will my turkey fryer burner support a keggle?

Mine did the same thing, johnny. I just left the keggle on top and let the weight of it bend it down once the supports got red hot. OK so I didn't do that entirely on purpose....
  19. EvilTOJ

    coffee urn HLT and MT?

Well, most coffee is made at around 140º, and commercial places like to crank it up to 185º at times, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

    Malt mill build??

Catt is right, aluminum is just too soft for a grain mill. The knurl will wear off in no time and you'll get all kinds of metal bits in your mash.
