    i just bottled my first batch 2 days ago, and its already settled significantly, ive got almost a solid layer of crud on the bottom of my bottles, im sure your beer with clarify alot in bottle, cheers on your new brew :)

    i live a ways away from my lhbs and im wondering, what ingredients can i get from my grocery store that i can use in brewing, aka will rolled oats work? regular rice, how about grains? most importantly a list of the different sugars, is corn syrup the same as corn sugar? and what about cane sugar?

    just my two cents, but if ur gonna buy hops by the pound invest in a vacuum sealer, you could lose alot of flavor and aroma if you dont get the 02 away from the hops
