I recently bought a used kegerator that was setup for commercial kegs. I'm not going to use the sankey keg coupler that it came with.
I'll post pics when I get home from work.
$15 plus shipping.
Sorry to bump an old thread. Cletus, how did the batch that you added lactose to turn out? I'm looking to brew a coffee stout and I'm toying with adding lactose and I am just hoping to get some thoughts/advice.
Thanks in advance.
I did not taste the sample of the wort before the primary, however I did sample after the primary before I began making additions. I did not taste heat either, truth be told I really thought the hop aroma/flavor came through nicely before the additions. The source of the heat definitely comes...
I wouldn't bother with the star-san for the fruit, since your adding it to the secondary there is already alcohol in your beer- that being one of the reasons for adding it to the secondary.
The only other thing from blascar's original recipe that I would stress is that you definitely do NOT...
Thanks for the link, that's really helpful!
I would love to go AG, even if I could do just BIAB rather than extract that would be great. But I'm a broke and recently engaged, so the money I do have is tied up elsewhere! So I gotta make do :)!
