Anyone bottling in 9-12 oz. glass coke bottles?

I have capped in the clear glass "Mexican" style coke bottles you can get some places, that have sugar rather than corn syrup. They worked fine, better than some beer bottles I have tried to cap...

So, I put my whole arm in the wort...

One of my favorite non-essential purchases yet... can immerse my hands in the crazy 150F water that comes out of my tap for 5-10 seconds no problem, makes washing bottles a breeze. Also great for 30min microwave mozzarella kneading.

    Holding your Temp.

I usually just use a sink full of hot water, not very sophisticated, but it works most of the time.

1 inch square tubing enough for 3 keggles?

Another site to check I remember from my blacksmithing days is http://www.onlinemetals.com/index.cfm No affiliation, they just seem competitively priced and support hobbyists. Also the last question of their FAQ is apropos.

    Starter Plan

I have used this store for every purchase, and have their dutch style press. The press works amazingly, breaks down flat with a screwdriver and is much better than my old method of stacking textbooks and LME containers precariously... Everything else from the store has come with no problems...

    cleaning the cloth

Its also apparently fine (by my experimentation) to just throw it in a normal wash cycle, then rinse the hell out of it before using it again. YMMV, but it gets me clean cheesecloth and no off flavors in the next batch from detergent or old cheese particles.

What brands of store-bought milk work for making cheese?

Have made 8-10 cheeses with Trader Joes organic, replace a pint of milk with a pint of heavy cream, add 1/4tsp calcium chloride, works perfectly. Cheeses made include mozzarella, colby(was amazing), gouda, jack(x3 batches) and cheddar. Picture below (taken with an ultra amazing blackberry...

Brewtarget 1.1 - Free open source brewing software

Sorry for the confusion, no I cannot see that menu after the app loads, I can however see some sort of options by going into preferences (in the application menu for OS X) Which allows you to toggle 'US customary units' Not a problem for me, just trying to provide insight to starrfish's issue.

Brewtarget 1.1 - Free open source brewing software

I am running this on my work computer (OSX 10.5.8) using the QT version linked earlier in the thread. When using the Brewtarget binary version 1.1, I can see the Tools menu for just under a second when I start the program, but by the time it finishes loading its gone. The Menu option goes away...
