    Yard Glass at World Market

I have one too, it's a great party glass! https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f45/come-its-only-one-beer-75740/ Just be careful when the bottom starts to bubble with air, it'll gush if you're aren't paying attention!

    Heading to Kansas City

Boulevard Brewery - although you are very unlikely to get on a tour since they take reservations and are typically reserved several weeks in advance. 75th Street Brewery is pretty good, give them a try. Have fun!

    For those that use Zazzle...

Nope, not yet, but if I get something figured out, I'll post it up. My problem is that I'm lacking the artistic aspect of the logo creation.

    For those that use Zazzle...

I have absolutely no input to add about the graphics... BUT I did want to jumkp in here to point out that we have very similar ideas! I have named my homebrewery "Stubby Muzzle" because my wife and I have an English Bulldog and a French Bulldog. I've been thinking of some kind of graphic...

    Seattle Brewers

I live in West Seattle, and I've met several of the local HBTers at some of the local beer festivals. The one guy that I seem to run into quite a bit is Brewtopia, as he shows up quite frequently at the festivals and other local beer events. He's probably quite a bit busier now that Naked City...

    Blackberry Brickbreaker Scores

Haha! +1 My BB shows a high score of 18,730 at level 5 (after wrapping around back to the first level). I achieved this while brewing one day and also haven't played since.

Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer McAustin's Mocha Stout (w/cold-brewed coffee)

I'm not real sure that a much larger container is/was needed... I'm pretty sure that my wife made it in a pitcher. Here's another example of how to do it, but with pics and a better description than I gave. Eat / Cold-brewed iced coffee

Any good Breweries/Pubs in the Seattle/Tacoma area?

Maritime Pacific, Hale's Ales, and Brouwers Cafe.... all within like 1.5 miles of each other in Fremont and Ballard. Austin

Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer McAustin's Mocha Stout (w/cold-brewed coffee)

I'm glad that it came out well and that you're enjoying it! :mug: I think that I need to brew this one again sometime soon (converted to AG now though). It's one of the favorite recipes that I've come up with. I mentioned your cold brewing coffee issue to my wife (she's the coffee expert...

Where to eat, drink, sleep in Portland, OR?

Although not technically IN the Pearl district, my wife and I spent a night last fall at the Hotel Monaco, which is walking distance to the Pearl District. We had a great stay there, plus it's VERY dog friendly, and by the time we left the day, nearly all of the hotel staff knew our two dogs by...

Anyone Here Use a Straight Razor

Good to know! The soap that I got when I bought my Merkur is just a puck of soap. When you load your brush with this type of soap, do you have it in some type of container? I just plunked mine into a coffee mug and made lather there, but it looks like I should start making lather in...

    Makin a coffee stout

See my Mocha Stout recipe in my signature line. Cold brewed coffee added to secondary is really smooth and avoids coffee bitterness.

Anyone Here Use a Straight Razor

I'm on shave 4 or 5 with my Merkur HD as well. Currently using Merkur blades, but I got some bumps today, so I went ahead and ordered the sampler pack of blades today so that I can try some other blades in it to see how my face likes those. I'm definitely getting MUCH smoother shaves with the...
