    Adding a little cinnamon and cardamom to some vodka and letting it infuse is a great way to get flavours into a cider. I leave a few days to a week then just drain and strain off the liquid. Better than extract!

    please help me order the right gear with my keg!

    So I'm needing to order online as there are no suppliers in my area and this is my first keg set up. Looks like I'm getting a torpedo keg and a blichmann beer gun.     Looking at a torpedo keg as it is a touch shorter than other (primary reason) as my fridge is only 23" tall (MAX). Excited!

    I can't tolerate sulfites well. Can I pasteurize force carb'd bottles? Dobt see why not and I understand it is more work but if I can't do sulfites is that my only options if I'm adding fermentatable sugar?

    Been reading up. Think that a keg is in my immediate future. Anything I should be aware of as I will need to order one online as there are no dealers in my area. Would like a new one 5 gallon doesn't have to be pretty - will not be using it for on tap - just for force carbing. Thank you!!!
