    Brown Bottles smell after baking

    I greatly prefer the dishwasher method.... You can fill a bottle warm but not HOT... The dishwasher does it perfectly it only takes 20-30 minutes after drying for them to cool enough to bottle. Never had an infected bottle...... The only worry i would have about the oven is making sure it wasn't...

    you'd have to do an PPPG comparison... i think belgian candi syrup is about 1.040 a pound... depending on the sugar it calls you should be able to. What type of sugar and amount does the original recipe call for?

    3 questions about my lager

    From what ive heard, the colder temperature means that it will ferment slower... The big burbs you're seeing is a slower collection of CO2 than with ales. Fairly sure you're suppose to lager from 33-40 (at the most i think). Someone else here should be able to sum it up better.
