I'm looking to make a 1 gal recipe calls for vanilla bean during fermentation I've seen vodka soak method. But on small batch will that vodka overpower the beer? Any alternative methods?
How do most of you buy your ingredients for 1 gal batches? Do you store some and wait on other ingredients? I was thinking of getting a few small 1 gal kits but deciding on shelf life of ingredients.
I'm new to the brew thing but interested in trying this one out. Could someone convert this recipe to 1or 1.5 gallon batch size for me. I've seen there's software but haven't tried it out yet. Or is it as easy as just doing 20% of everything? Thanks
