    Brewing with Coconut??

I made a coconut porter last winter. I used 1 lb of roasted coconut after flame out. Turned out good but flavor was subtle. I would not be afraid to use 2 lbs.

    Schwartzbier with Hazelnut?

Thanks for advice. The kit is 2/3 pils base, so I will try the hazelnut. I have been on a kick to add flavors to all kits lately. This was the summer of orange. A Belgium wit and cream ale with orange zest. Both turned out awesome. Will let you know how it turned out later this year. Thanks.

    Belgium Wit with Orange zest?

Thanks for the tips. I also saw on an older thread that Seville oranges work well too but I have never heard of them. Any advise on that. Otherwise I think blood orange will be choice. Thinking of adding at end of boil and put in an herb ball and add during secondary.
