    I think I want to avoid the thermal-well route if i can. Just extra parts/sanitation/cleaning. Will that packing foam work better than Styrofoam? I'm using a piece from a Styrofoam plate currently and it's not holding temps.

    Ball Lock/Pin Lock dual disconnect?

    Anybody know if its possible to have a dual c02 disconnect set-up coming out of a c02 tank? I have some kegs that are pin lock and some that are ball lock and I don't want to switch lines all the time when carbonating.

    No we did not top off at all which is why the OG was significantly higher. But we weren't far off our target volume of 5.25G even though our pre boil volume was 5.25. I just find it odd that no recipes ever take into account amount of LME when determining boil volumes.

    So I just transferred this to secondary. My FG was down to about 1.010, so I'm sitting at about 12% which I'm very happy with. It tastes wonderful. A LOT of straberries (puree) went along when I transferred it. How do I get these to drop to the bottom? They were floating/supsended.
