Look what my wife got me for my Birthday!!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I don't think it will be a terribly tight fight. Just playing around with the corney's, I am pretty certain I can get 5 in there without any trouble. I am not sure about reforming the hump. It might be possible. I guess it depends on how the...

going from single body to multiple?

New ones are a bit more expensive. I have had no issues using used ones. Here are the new ones: http://www.chicompany.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=20&products_id=314 $53.79 each.

going from single body to multiple?

At the very bottom of that page are Taprite secondary regs for $20 each. If you get one of those you will probably want to get a new low pressure 0-30 or 0-60 PSI gauge to put on it and a Checkvalve.

going from single body to multiple?

Yes, but you will still need the other hardware. The link above was an all in one kit. It comes with the secondary reg, the connecting hardware, gauge, and check valve. But you can find it all separately, especially if you can find a cheap secondary reg then it will be cheaper. Check this...

    Best Head Ever

+10 to that Not sure if this is the same, but why couldn't you just get one of those Creamer faucets? The Perlick 575ss I believe. Aren't they used to ensure perfect head? Edit: Just realized I made an assumption that you were kegging. Kegs have been on my mind :) I am designing my keezer...

KegWorks 13 Facts. Fact or Fiction?

I am not sure about St. Louis, I would imagine they would be bigger. I've been to the brewery in Jax FL in 2004 and the fermentation vessels were over 4,000 bbls and they were in process of upgrading some of them to 6,000 bbls. You can't actually see the fermenters during the standard brewery...

KegWorks 13 Facts. Fact or Fiction?

Midas Touch is a very interesting beer. Try this, buy a 4 pack then drink one, store the rest for 1, 6, and 12 months. You will be surprised at how the flavor develops. At about a year it seems that the sweetness of the honey subsides and you get a bit more of the grape flavor but it's much...

KegWorks 13 Facts. Fact or Fiction?

It was designed based on what they found on a clay "Cup" in his tomb. They were able to isolate the compounds and determine what ingredients were used. Then DFH came up with the recipe based on those ingredients. Interesting. AB fermentation vessels and lagering tanks are nearly twice as...

Look what my wife got me for my Birthday!!!

Oh I know, she has a memory like a still trap. And I already have thoughts for the future. Once this baby is up and running I "may" need to upgrade my actual brewing setup ;) So I will definitely take care of her :mug:

Look what my wife got me for my Birthday!!!

After taking careful measurements I think I can fit 5. I even put it into skecthup to confirm. Here is the image, when I use the tape measure tool everything matches perfectly to my hand calculations. (The CO2 bottle after measuring is about the same diameter as a keg, so I can put 4 plus the...

Look what my wife got me for my Birthday!!!

Yes I do believe I would be able to get 5 Kegs in there if I put the CO2 on the outside.

    Micro-brew Mecca

I spent the long fourth of July weekend in Denver and I must say it is a really great city for beer drinkers. I stayed downtown close to the 16th street mall (outdoor strip mall along the entire 1-2 mile stretch) where there is a free bus that goes up and down 16th street. Just jump on the bus...

Need advice on a purchase please

I have actually never used these before, but came across the thread when I was learning about hose lengths and system balancing. So it has been sitting in the back of mind just in case. According to the OP in the thread I referenced above, they used 2 in a keg.

Look what my wife got me for my Birthday!!!

I think I would be able to fit 5. I will need to measure to be sure since I am not sure what the diameter of the CO2 bottle is. Yep there will be plenty of pictures of her posted, she is really pushing me to get this done. We want it it functional before football season, and time is...

Look what my wife got me for my Birthday!!!

I know it has been some time since my last post (life gets in the way sometimes). But I wanted to give an update and express my excitement...Woohoo! Jester replied to my thread! The man whose keezer is my inspiration, his design has launched a thousand keezer designs. :) (Great job on that...

Need advice on a purchase please

I am no expert, but I know there is a relationship between temperature, hose length, and pressure. Given that there is no hose in this setup I would be concerned about properly balancing the system. I am sure someone out there has had success in doing it since these are widely available at the...
