What does the controller do to the Freezer section of the fridge? I would assume that it keeps it the same temp as the rest of the fridge.

Last night I did a good batch of Ed's Haus Pale, and as I wathced the chiller, the temp would never get below 90Deg F. It was very late (2:30 am) and I was getting pissed. I put the primary in the fermentation chamber for another hour at 55Deg f to try to cool the wort, which was still 88 deg...

Can any one give me a tutorial on how to diassemble a two tap tower? I bought a used one, and I need to replace the tubing inside the tower. I took of the tap spigots, but must be missing something....:(

Actually it was a merger, not one buying the other. And the only reason BM is made by Molson, is because Coors just built a brnd new brewery in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, and closed the Memphis brewery that was making BM. The new brewery is just there to produce Silver Bullets.

And I know a lot of AG brewers will get upset, but PM's are the best of both worlds. It gives you the flexibility of AG, but shortens the brew day to almost extract time frame. I have done all thre methods and I love the PM best.

It seems that more folks like the priate theme. I am not overly thrilled with the actual name but do like the theme and since I am very close to the waters where Blackbeard met his fate, I think I may have a solution. Ocracoke Island is where Blackbeard died and is part of the Barrier Islands...

I need a name for the brewery.... I like pirates, and have considerd Teach's Taven and Brewery in homage to Black Beard.... but I think the priate theme is over use. I live in Greenville, NC and when in college here the city was often nicknamed "the emerald city" So I am leaning toward...
