I like the idea of steeping while getting the main amount of water to a boil. That would be a time saver!

I believe that there is nothing wrong with starting the heating processed to get that going quicker but once the wort is boiling then you should uncover it. However, you may want to be careful about boilovers if you are not watching it.

Bosoco's has a great vibe but I thought the beer at Blackstone's was better. The funny thing with Blackstone's food was that the vegetable they served at the time was asparagus, that was it. I liked their pizza.

Is Blackstones still around? That was Dave Miller's place. When I used to go there for business I would stay across the street from there because it was closer to the recording studios and I would go there nightly.
