Dang. Well, I've got it working in cooling mode so at least it is keeping my fermentation stable.

You're probably right.. I googled for a sheet of 20 x 20" stainless and you could probably get a new pot for that price, adding on for a welder or for getting gas for mig welding. Shame, it is a wonderfully heavy pot.

Thanks Prandlesc, I'll go with it then. I haven't secured the fan yet in the video or cleaned up the wiring, so that will all be a bit better than shown.
