    I found some old-new stock in the back corner of the cooler at my local beer mart. Averbode 'Abbey - style' blonde beer x4 and a beauty glass to boot! Little bit bitter, big hit of spelt wheat along with a very malty/oat finish. The write-up on the display box said the beer had been dry-hopped...

    Welp, no sense dwelling on the last pint of a great HB, onto the Friday night festivus! :bigmug: Admiring the dried Tangelo peel I didn't even mean to make ( 😄 ) and firing back a Leviathan RIS by local New Level Brewing. Might even add the dried peel to my upcoming Super Spring Belgian...

    Last pint of HB Imperial Sprucetip Porter...sigh. 😢 One of the best beers I've ever made. 🥲 This was such a great XBeeriment that I will definitely make a larger batch once the leaves fall again. Cheers everyone, and Happy Friday!

    I think we've hit a happy HB medium for tonight. Had to let off a few (5) burps from the keg because it was just too much foam. My keg was full of a really clear WCIPA when I put in...where did all this NEIPA haze come from? 😂 "Force carb at 40psi - roll the keg - cool beer flat then force carb...

    Ahhh...happy 2ºC cold-infused CO2 clouds....nicely fit into my fridge. :yes: Celebrating with an Establishment Brewing Co. 'Great Gig in the Sky' 8.2% Imperial Raspberry sour. Losing gas somewhere (need a couple more sizes of hose clamps), but a great next step. Finally! Now, onto pressurized...

    Running some brewing day errands after work and...then....drinkin' !! 😂 Cheers everyone! Marmalade Skies sour by local Establishment Brewing. Very clean, not an overpowering citrus, but it's there. Wonderful crisp beer! Had to get pop-rockin'....HB Imperial Spruce tip porter...wow...

    'Salty Scot' Scottish ale, with smoky caramel and a 7.5% kick. A bit sweet if too cold, but really gets into the flavour as it warms. " 'Tis a bonny cereal, but it's not oatmeal!! " 😂 :mug:

    'Hall Pass' Imperial Dry-hopped Sour with Belma, from local Eighty-Eight Brewing Co. A refreshing pint of 7.5% beer, with minimal sour. Very thirst-quenching! 🍻 The gnomes were calling, so had a little sip of La Chouffe Blonde. It's such a classic. 🙂 Happy Spring!
