Having lemon water tonight, just for a little break. I’m 3 days into the ‘Moto’ stage of making my first Sakè , and I’m pitching my Wyeast pack tomorrow. Moto is when the Koji-infused rice is mixed with water and the first batch of regular rice, so the sugars are broken down before the yeast...

I see a few Aero 9-5 cars up here, great auto for the Sunshine/Lake Louise snowsports mountain run. Only one place in town had a Saab logo out front, now sadly gone. Old school 9.5 cars were pretty cool as well. Cheers!

In SW Alberta, there are midges year-round, but I had spent about 2h tying this particular Moonshine. The same moment I finished the fly, the snow started, so onto the mighty Bow River I went. It seemed fitting, with the silence of the snow with rapids all around. Cheers! :mug:
