Yea what they said, my first batch is in primary for almost two weeks now and had no activity for 4days and then like magic fermentation started, so relax and wait for the goodness to start.:D

I have first batch in primary for almost two weeks now in bedroom closet I can not detect any smells and swmbo does not complain of any.

Welcome, Lived in North Pole for a few months in '93 then on base at Eielson til '96.

Welcome as a beginer my self first batch in primary, I also did a extract kit (coopers lager) and mine was pre-hopped and the yeast was under the lid for the extract.

Sounds like a plan just got worried due to seeing no activity, I have read some threads on here, that's why I checked to see if I had a change.

Well was getting worried, I put in primary on 12\19 and since then I checked it a few times and I saw no activity whatsoever, OG was 1042 just checked it this morning and is 1030, my guessing is it is ferminting due to the drop, will check over next couple days to see if it is still dropping...

They both end to fast sometimes....:o
