do all roads lead to hazies.

I'm glad it's not just me 😅 I had my 1st hefeweizen in Germany (way before I started brewing) because I thought the beer that the guy at the next table over had looked interesting.... Big tall glass with an orange slice... 😖 Major banana bomb. I keep trying 'em to see if my taste buds have...

My Girlfriend forced me to get into Homebrewing

Welcome... for a quick and dirty, dead-easy, sweet mead that breaks all the rules of mead making but results in something enjoyable in about 2 months, look for the JAOM (Joe's Ancient Orange Mead) recipe... If you want to be more precise in your nutrient protocol look for the BOMM (Bray's One...

BIAB grain mill spacing and bag microns?

I'm not sure you'll get an "optimum"... In general, the finer the crush, the better/quicker conversion you'll get and the finer the weave of your bag, the fewer grain bits will make it through into the wort. However, finer weave is also slower draining... and too fine of a crush (i.e. flour)...

Centennial Blonde Ale Brewing and Notes

The dosage for killing stuff in wine must is a lot higher... 1 tablet / gallon. Whereas for chlorine/chloramine removal, I think according to Palmer's "How to Brew" it's 1 tablet per 20 gallons... The reaction is pretty instantaneous. There's no need to wait. So treat all brewing water...

NCBeernut's Deception Cream Stout vs. Yooper's Oatmeal Stout

@day_trippr beat me too it! The HBT search box let's you search by "member" name, which helps narrow down "Oatmeal Stout" to Yooper's version for instance... Also a google search with "site:homebrewtalk.com" added to the end can be useful... eg using "yooper's oatmeal stout...

I think those 0.2 l bottles in the first couple of pics might be old balsamic vinegar bottles...

    packaging my liqueurs

I usually go with relatively small bottles... 0.2-ish Liter... 6-8 oz... Although, I do some in slightly larger sizes if I know the recipient is a fan... I try to reuse bottles... But I do often buy 375 ml Belissima bottles for Xmas gifting of certain liqueurs that I know are a hit.

    Question on honey amount?

Not sure what you're asking here... Are you wanting to add more yeast? Or more honey? The yeast will be fine. They should continue to eat all the sugars you give them up to their alcohol tolerance. Step-feeding honey is also perfectly acceptable... Often used to increase ABV by acclimatizing...

    Greetings from the Midwest.

Welcome Robert Look into the JOAM threads and the BOMM threads... Forum favorite mead recipes... I keep a JOAM going almost all the time... Set it and forget it. BOMM is a little more fiddly, but still fairly easy.
