Mold grew in my counterflow chiller

When I worked at a Copper tube plant we would clean out tubing with a Cleaner and a foam plug to follow it. Then use air pressure to push it through the tubing. You could do something similar with a small foam plug and some cleaner like PBW.

    Drill Motor Grain Mill

The bracket on the back of the drill was my first attempt at making a fuel tank bracket for the plane I'm building. I messed up drilling it so it went into the drawer of shame. when this project came about I opened the drawer and it fit the bill.

Oops, how bad might this turn out

I'm not so sure it is going to be all that oxidized. For the O2 to be disolved into the beer quickly it needs to be under pressure. you only used enough pressure to move the beer not something like 20 or 30 PSI. At low pressure it takes time to disolve any gas into a liquid, so I'm not sure...

    Drill Motor Grain Mill

The 6 gallon carboy was just emptied and the 3 gallon carboy does not get much use. As for the Corona Bottles I use them to bottle a couple from each batch to check clarity.

    Drill Motor Grain Mill

I bought a grain mill a couple batches ago and right out of the box knew I was not going to use the handle. So I started to use my drill to crush grain, but found a problem with that. I needed three hands ! ! ! ! ! Trying to hold the drill, the top of the mill so it would not come off the...

for winter brewing I use a large tub with water in it. Place in the fermenter and use a fish tank heater to keep the water at the correct temperature. I made a thermostat temp controller to control the fish tank heater as the heater is not made for the temps of fermentation it is made for...
