As I posted a week or two back I scored 2 turkey fryers for 10 bucks well I got them well the pots are oily and have some minor rust spots. The burner stands and rings them selfs have major rust how do I clean them so that I can start using them any help would be greatly received

no room to store something like that but would like to do a 2 stage maybe that i can brake down and store in help there

So I bottled my first batch today and boy to I prove that I am a newbie lets see I left the tap open on the spicket for the bottling bucket when adding water to sanitize. I let the hose fall out of the bottling bucket when transferring the beer from secondary to bottling bucket used my auto...

so if i dry hop how much should I go with ?

thanks the beer tasted good but the hops was almost zero nada zip

did a second reading and tasting !!!!! 1.001 and the taste was amazing great job ed (wish my beer was this easy )

I started my brew on the 6th its now sitting in the secondary I took a reading this morning and had a taste. My one major concern is its lack of hops as I posted on my introduction the water never boiled is it to late to dry hop or add some hops to the secondary ?

started brew on 10/06/2009 racked over yesterday

I just racked my American Light to the better bottle last night the og on this was only 1.037-1.041 (og was 1.036) how long should I let this sit to clean all the extra gunk out to have a nice clean beer?

the kit that he posted is the better I started out with MR.Beer and trust me as you start growing your equipment you will spend more so I would go with the most bang for your buck I bought a basic equipment kit and then had to add a better bottle auto siphon carboy cap etc..... so that kinda...

shooter this now begs to question considering that the American Light is a low og beer this would not be a second fermentation how long should I let it sit in the better bottle before racking over to the bottling stage I was thinking a week am I on target ?

well I posted in a another thread that I had the opportunity to talk to a brew master about this so I have some good things to work off of in a few weeks will go to LHBS and do some shopping I will keep you posted on what I do and use thank you for your help
