Once Again, The Government Has Ruined My Life

Replicating A Prior Brew / Mistake

Long story short: I inadvertently brewed a sour fruit beer that my family loves and wants me to make more. I believe the sourness came from lack of fermentation control. I have since moved to a new apartment and the ambient temperature is (guestimating) 25-30 degrees colder than when I brewed...

Short list of courses I can take; where to start?

Start with whichever one sounds most fun to you. Personally Id try for the hard sell first, see if you can finagle that one. The yeasts turn the wort into ethanol, you turn cellulose into ethanol - Maybe tell them you're exploring other uses for your current product... So what if that use is...

    Racking to fruit

You have several options, all of which involve making sure the fruit is free of contaminants. There are several posts describing using frozen fruits, fruit puree, pasteurizing, or using vodka. Take your pick - from what I can tell, they're all relatively equally effective and delicious.

    BeerSmith Android Brew Buddy

I agree, it's not that big of a priority, especially since the dropbox feature works like a charm. But - Google Drive is live as of earlier today. It replaces the "document" tab on your google account bar once you activate it... I'm not sure why you wouldn't have been notified.

I know nothing about programing, but in light of today's announcement would it be possible to integrate Google Drive as a source of recipes along with Dropbox? http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2012/04/introducing-google-drive-yes-really.html Fantastic app either way! :mug:

Poll: Which type of a brewer are you?
