Any one have a suggestion on a max hight for a wooden collar on a freezer type kegerator? I need a 10" collar to get everything to fit. Is this to large? Also should i go with a 5lb co2 tank or a 10lb tank? Thanks to all and happy brewing.

So there are thousands of different beer faucets out there. Im on a budget and not sure if i should go with a standard $12.00 one or a $20.00 one. I have a spot for a stout tap also. any suggestions?

Another idea I'm throwing around is putting the taps on the back side and putting some nice wood panelling over the exterior. that way the doors are not in the way when changing out kegs and so on.

33-38 degrees which is perfect and i can always alter that if needed. Its a nice hight also so i could realistically just pill the corny kegs in there. My biggest concern is the weight. its pushing 260 empty. lol i live in an apartment and would not be to thrilled to have to move it any time...

the dimensions are: 49 long x 33 wide x 41 high. and it weighs about 250 pounds.

I was given a 16 crate milk cooler. Was thinking of turning it into a kegerator. any suggestions. Is this a good idea? Bad idea?
