    20 year old chest freezer

Any other thoughts on this? I can also buy an ice cream freezer for $100 but I think they only hold two fermenters. I can buy a Sears coldspot older chest freezer for less than $100. I'm thinking the 16cf one is my best bet.

    20 year old chest freezer

Yea it's gonna be hooked up to another Johnson a419 like my other one. But wasn't sure if a 20 yr old one will last. Won't be in too hot of a climate either in NY. I just don't wanna lug it if it will only break down relatively soon. Thank you

    20 year old chest freezer

Thanks for the input. Wouldn't be worth it for $100 then. Should look for a newer one you think?

    20 year old chest freezer

Looking to buy a chest freezer I saw but it's 20 years old. They say it's working great, actually using it still right now. Any issue with it being that old? Is the compressor more likely to break? I know with the old ones they can be built to last compared to the newer ones but I don't know...

Autumn Seasonal Beer Imperial Pumpkin Pie Ale

Just brewed 5 gallons of this last night. Sample tasted great! I cut the recipe in half but used 8.5 lb 2 row and 8.5 lb Vienna. I also added 1 pumpkin, chunked and roasted at 350 with a dusting of the spices and brown sugar. The pumpkin was added to the boil at 20 mins. OG hit about 1.084...

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

Just brewed this for the first time. Hit an OG of 1.050 using the exact grain bill and BIAB method. Chilled to 61 degrees and pitched one pack of rehydrated US-05. This was a very easy brew to do and I'm excited to taste it. Will keg after about 10 days primary and two days cold crash. Thanks...
