My hobby is collecting gear. Making beer is a just a wonderful byproduct of that.

I've been brewing since whatever my join date (*edit* since 2008) says and I brew at least once a month.

I'm at 66, but there are a few I didn't count that I could've. I've had dried durian before but didn't count it.

I use my e-kettle to sous vide. I used my pump to recirculate water for my first couple of attempts, but I've found that it works just as well without recirculating.

As others have said, the biggest issue is opening a lid. I've never had a problem with foaming but I've always used longer beer lines. The first version of my keezer was on casters, but as corkybstewart said, it got too heavy to move when it was full, especially on a carpeted floor. My solution...

Before I settled on heavy duty drawer glides for my keezer, I toyed around with using gas lift from a celica hatchback. It worked during my test runs but that was before I put tiles on.
