    Backy Yard Brewery Construction

Strange but nice set up. Those kegs are beautiful, but my god that's a lot of cash tied up in them. And why no silicon hose? I am 6'4 and I think I would need the stool to brew on that thing as well. Why not chop the bottom part of the legs off and just put the kettle at deck level?

    copper kettle project

No need to worry about copper poisoning. As already mentioned, copper predates other brew kettle mediums. In fact even today the Pilsner Urquell brewery employs brew kettles, mash mixers, decoction kettles, and lauter tuns which are all built from copper. While there is no denying that...

    Brambling Cross hops

Yeah well my bad anyway. I just double checked and the bittering addition is Glacier. Not sure why I had Brambling in my Promash recipe. You could still use it in this recipe, just sub it for the EKG.

    Brambling Cross hops

I have a recipe for a fantastic Imperial bitter that uses Brambling Cross. http://elizabethstreetbrewery.com/2010/04/15/imperial-jack-wins-gold-medal-at-world-beer-cup-2010/ I have not brewed it yet, but plan on doing it soon. The grain bill is exact, and the hops are correct, but I don't...

    Berliner Weisse

In theory you should be ok with a good cleaning. Glass and stainless would be easily sanitized. The main worry is with things like hose and other plastic equipment that could harbor this stuff in scratches or pitting.

    Berliner Weisse

I recently made a BW and it took 3rd place in a local home brewing comp. I used WLP677 Lactobacillus Delbrueckii and WLP011 European Ale. I pitched the Lacto (no starter) and waited 3 days to pitch the yeast starter. The wyeast blend already contains both so nothing else would be needed...

American Lager Pottsville Common (Yeungling Lager Attempt)

I brewed this with one big change. I left out the corn and added 2# of caramel wheat (I have a ton of it). Of course it came in darker than the original recipe. Mine has an SRM of 17. I have had this in the keg about 10 days and I already love this stuff! Hard for me to say if it tastes...

How many different hops have been used in one recipe?

I watched an episode of Food Tech on the History channel the other day. They visit the Budweiser Brewery in St. Louis. They claim they put 7 different hop varieties into Bud... and you still can't taste a single one...
