My barley crusher will no longer work with my drill. Most likely it's due to my drill but the end is so coned from the drill slipping that I can now only use it with the hand crank attached. No fun when crushing 35 pounds of grain. I am looking into buying Crankandstein's 3D.

Looks nice. I made a very similar beer last year (I used the BYO Yeti clone grain bill) but used wyeast 3711 French Saison yeast. It is my favorite beer I have ever brewed!

I am using propane. The boil kettle is on a blichmann floor burner. The hlt and mlt are on a double burner stand cut down to half its original height. I think it was from academy sports. Here is a better picture.

I use a heavy duty rack I got at Costco. It works fine. I put casters on it so I can roll it in and out of the garage.

I used a Yeti clone recipe from BYO thats floating around here. I just moved the beer a few days ago to a couple of corny kegs for aging and the stuff was already tasing great.

I just did a Russian Imperial Stout using 3711. 1.092 to 1.007 It's a clone of Great Divides Belgian Style Yeti RIS. Is that big enough?

Aside from price, they are basicly the same. I have the 30 plate from Dudadiesel. It looks exactly like the picture of the 30 plate on kegcoboys site. I have at least 30 batches on mine and have never had any issues with it.

That is a cool idea, but I would be worried about contaminating the beer. I try to keep my grain, and especially my milling away from fermentation. Grain is covered in lactobacillus.
