My Scale Calculations weren't too bad. For 5 Gallons with 7 lbs of extract the OG is supposed to be 1.052. For 3 gallons I used 4.2 lbs of extract and my OG was 1.049. Pitched the yeast (Wyeast 1332 Northwest Ale) and I've got a tad over 3 gallons in my 5 gallon wide mouth bubbler in a cabinet...
