    oxygen tank

I think it depends on the type of tank. The ones that attach to a medical type regulator are harder to get filled as most places wont do them and the places that do require a medical prescription. If it connects like a tank from the hardware store would I think you should have no issues. As...

    Regulator creep...beyond frustrating. Please help?

Yes you can. A manifold is not required.

Repair 10 gallon cooler - Need collective input

You may not need to repair at all. Build your own bulkhead or buy one like here http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/cooler-bulkhead.html you'll need it whether this cooler is salvageable or if you buy a new one. The o-rings are good sized and squishy... They might be sufficient to make a good...

    Brewery names--what's your story?

I was first going the Fat Irishman Brewing.... But then got a bit more real and kept it simple. T&T Brewing. For the first initials of my daughters first names.

    Regulator creep...beyond frustrating. Please help?

Its possible since the regulator basically has a rubber diaphragm in it... Rubber will shrink and harden when cold.

So, I went to throw the dry hop into the fermenter...

I know that feeling. I use a temp controlled chest freezer for fermenting. I went to sniff the airlock with out realizing the whole chest was filled with co2.... I won't be doing that again.

    Regulator creep...beyond frustrating. Please help?

+1 on cleaning it. I had same problem after burst carbing and some dry ice actually came from co2 tank. Pressure spiked on regulator so much that the pressure relief went off. After that it too kept creeping. Set at 12 and it would creep to 20-30 with no keg connected. I eventually got a...

Scored a 1 barrel conical for free

Lol. I'm thinking a big arse batch of pale ale for the initial run. I can only 10 gallons in my kegglel so a double brew day is in order.

Scored a 1 barrel conical for free

Just got this plastic conical for free from a friend who has his own nano. It was just sitting outside unused. Any suggestions on cleaning. I'm thinking hot ass water and oxyclean.

    Airlock contamination

Its most likely the krausen (foam made by the yeast). If it rises too high it will often get pushed into the airlock. As long as the airlock isn't completely plugged up everything is fine. Happy brewing.

    Igloo Coolers as MT's

I've gone up to 185 degrees in mine and never had any warping what so ever. I am using a 10 gallon cooler but I would think inner wall thickness and material would be the same. I also warm it up in two stages before mashing in. I first use hot tap water (about 120) and prewarm it while my...

Hopefully going up to our cottage and getting some brew ingredients and a conical fermenter for free from the neighbor.

Open your panel and show me whats inside

Kevink, very nice clean work. I like the perfect bends to the wires to accommodate hight and to make turns.

    Label suggestions

+1 to this. Only hiccup is that they are small so you can't really go to nuts with graphics. But I manage to get the name and ABV to fit no problem. And I occasionally still toss a graphic on them. Play around with the online design tool. I usually have name and ABV printed around the outer...

Making alcohol in your stomach? Oh, to be so lucky :)

Came across this news article. Interesting.... http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-204_162-57603766/

    Regulator Broken?

Hard to say. Is the tank inside the kegerator? If so then everything is fine. The cold temps drop the tank pressure even though it is full. My newly filled 10 pound tank will drop to about 500 psi when it's cold. It's still full and you will get full use of it. If it's not inside the...

    Tapping TWO2 Kegs

A T will be the easiest. You can probably find one in the plumbing section of a hardware store or order one like this. http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/s-s-tee-3-8.html

My keg system has sat for about 2-3 years what should I do to get it ready?

I would also take apart and thoroughly clean all connections. Sanke connections come completely apart and there is info on the internet on doing it. Corny connections come apart real easy... The slit on the top that looks like a screw driver slot is in fact a screw driver slot. Just be aware...
