    Need advice on Dortmunder recipe

Thanks for the advice. So let's say I increase the Pils and Munich to 2 lbs each - how much Liquid and/or Dry Extract should I put in?

    Need advice on Dortmunder recipe

Does this look like a good Dortmunder recipe? It should be within BJCP style guidelines. Also, which White Labs yeast would be most authentic? 5 gallon batch Grains 0.50 lbs Pilsner Malt 0.25 lbs Light Munich Malt Extracts 3.3 lbs Light Malt Extract 3.0 lbs Dry Light Malt Extract...

    Candy Corn Beer Label

That label is a stroke of genius, especially the flask with the candy corn colors. Last fall I was also considering using candy corn in beer but only as an addition. Using the honey and caramel malts sounds like it would produce some tasty results.

    Label idea but no talent

This is a crazy coincidence (Christmas miracle?). A few months ago I was going to use my last name/initial for my homebrew labels. I designed a logo almost exactly what you described, with the back-to-back B's in blue. The only difference is I made the space in between the B's into the...

    My Duble Label

That label is awesome and I really like the paint peel background but when I saw the 3 skulls I thought that graphic would go better with a tripel and something like this for a dubbel: http://www.headindustries.com/catalog/d33c_1_106_1_thumb.jpg

    New IPA Label

The numbers under the barcode could be the bottled on date, abv, etc?

    New IPA Label

That's a sweet label but I would make the 2 blue lines the same blue as the rest of the label.

    Logo for my homebrew labels

lol - it's one of my favorite pics - it's Marisa Miller. I don't even know what kind of beer that would be, I just wanted to use the picture on a label :)

    Logo for my homebrew labels

They're from all different places. I'm good with computer art but not so much at drawing so I just go to Google and search for what I'm looking for. For backgrounds I look for vector graphic designs or apply some random effects to a picture in Corel. edit: If you have any specific ideas, let...

    Logo for my homebrew labels

That one is unfinished but the beer name will be Boston Brewins Honey Brown Ale to go with the team colors. The Bruins beer will be part of a set with all 4 New England teams. Does anyone have a label idea for Soxtoberfest, Patriots Pigskin Porter or Celtics Redhead Irish Ale? I'm having...

    Logo for my homebrew labels

Here is a good one I forgot. Which labels do you guys like or not like? My favorite is the Kool Aid Beer Pitcher Man which is one of my own designs, and the Russian Imperial Stout is original too.

Do you guys put labels on all your bottles?

I use labels mostly for gifts and on beers that I want to show off to friends and neighbors. But I bought full size sheets of the waterproof sticker paper which peel off later with almost no residue. For my own beers I just write intials on the cap while it's dry with a dark colored sharpie and...

    Redhead Brewing Co.

Those labels kick ass - nice simple classy design and really stands out on the bottles. Plus I love redheads too - I would do definitely buy something like that if I saw it in a store.

    Logo for my homebrew labels

btw, our original name was STD Brewing for the initials of our first names, Steve, Toby, Dave which is still on some of the labels. That name got a mixed reaction from the public ;)

    Logo for my homebrew labels

Here's some labels I made for our beers - they're not all original designs, most are just graphics I've seen online and added text. Some of these have already been brewed, some haven't. I'm open to any advice or ideas you guys have, either about the labels or the beer styles.
