    Trade Homebrew Pictures!

This is disappointing! At least they repackaged and still delivered. Leads me to believe they crushed it or something since the FW was packed in the middle, in it's own box. I highly doubt I have recourse, but will certainly try!

    color change after bottling

I did 3 gal of Belgian Pale with Wyeast Belgian Abbey. Bottled all of it. All of the bottles were great but the last 3 or 4. They were a couple/few months older when I drank them than the others and had a slightly different flavor but very clear color change with a pink tint. Although anyone...

Flanders Red or Brown - leave on yeast?

I just brewed a Flanders Red first time this past weekend as well. Will likely rack to secondary in a month or so but also have questions about how much French oak cube to add, boil first, how long to leave in secondary, etc.

FT: Homebrew Rye IPA ISO: Your homebrew

I have a bourbon barrel porter I'd be willing to trade someone for a barleywine or some other beer to age. I should note that it's the faux version; oak cubes and Maker's Mark in the secondary... 10/20/12 bottles left Six 12 oz Twelve 22 oz

    Bourbon Barrel Porter question

Like the feedback. I'm thinking in my case the bourbon must have settled on bottom and since I have the short thief (haha), I must not have gotten any of that flavor in my sample. I'm going to chill out a bit and let it ride for at least a couple more weeks as dougdecinces suggested. Patience...

    Bourbon Barrel Porter question

Hello - I'm doing an all grain kit from NB, Bourbon Barrel Porter. I added the 1oz. of medium oak cubes and 16oz of Makers Mark to the secondary carboy and racked on top. I'm three weeks in and tasted. Not the amount of bourbon flavor I expected. Recipe says another week at least. I'm...

The folks at Perry's and Livermore Saloon are great. And yes, the best selection!

Livermore here. I'd love to check someone else's brew methods or have another brewer over. Always brewed solo so far.
