This is disappointing! At least they repackaged and still delivered. Leads me to believe they crushed it or something since the FW was packed in the middle, in it's own box. I highly doubt I have recourse, but will certainly try!

I just brewed a Flanders Red first time this past weekend as well. Will likely rack to secondary in a month or so but also have questions about how much French oak cube to add, boil first, how long to leave in secondary, etc.

Like the feedback. I'm thinking in my case the bourbon must have settled on bottom and since I have the short thief (haha), I must not have gotten any of that flavor in my sample. I'm going to chill out a bit and let it ride for at least a couple more weeks as dougdecinces suggested. Patience...
