    Weight of Beer Gas

The fact that the Ideal Gas Law has a lot of gray area explains why high school me couldn't use propane (without ignition) as a potato gun propellant. In addition to how PVC pipe at 10F has a far lower pressure capacity than at 70F+

    Weight of Beer Gas

Gotcha. So keep in mind that CO2 turns to liquid at normal storage pressures. And liquids always occupy far less volume than their gaseous counterparts. Nitrogen does not turn to liquid until its stupendeously high pressured, or equally ridiculously chilled. So it had a direct correlation...

    Weight of Beer Gas

Well, those tanks probably don't have a tare weight stamp because they are filled by pressure (volume) rather than weight like CO2. A quick Google says that 1lb of CO2 yields 8.7 cuft of gas. So assuming the whole 60 cuft tank was CO2, that'd only be like 7lbs. Any reason you don't want to...

    Hello

Welcome back to the brew! Brewing Classic Styles never let me down. Though I mostly riff it based on what I have on hand now a days.

Gardening: My Tomatoe and Pepper Progress

Those are the Tattler reusable lids. We must have 3-400 in circulation with some nearing 13 years old. I finally started replacing a few of the rubber gaskets that were noticeably hardening up.

That was from a wine barrel aged imperial honey blonde, itself now nearly 7 years aged.

If you rinse a bottle as soon as you are done, it'll be fine they says... Yeah, PBW took care of that EZPZ.

Will my Wilser brew bag work for making jelly?

I use 5 gallon nylon paint strainers for hops, as well as jelly or nut milk straining. Usually that's the perfect size for those projects.

Gardening: My Tomatoe and Pepper Progress

Went to pull the green beans and feed the chickens. Lo and behold, they found a second wind. I only got through a quarter of the patch before filling my bowl. Also with the help of a few greenbacks, I got the kiddo to help dig one of the carrot beds.

    ACV for Cattle

Do we though? I spent many afternoons of my youth foraging chokecherries to the point I could barely swallow anymore. Then I'd crack open the pits and chew up all that intense cherry/almond goodness until my mouth went numb. Too bad the chokecherries in my current area just don't have...

    custom fermentable question

The shortcut for this is recognizing that the chocolate syrup is 60% cane sugar by weight (24g out of 40g). So we can just take 60% of sugar's PPG of 46 and end up with about 28PPG for your syrup.
