What do people think about doing this as for amounts of each malt. 78% Muntons light LME, 11% Chocolate malt, 11% Carapils. and then just a 60 min addition on EKG to hit about 28 ibus. Any input?

Hello everyone. I am just looking for some input on getting a recipe together with what I have on hand. I have lots of light LME about 1 lb or so of carapils and about a lb of chocolate malt. I also have some S04 yeast and as well lots of EKG and willamete hops. Looking at just doing 2 gallons...

I have a buddy who is positive that molson Canadian is the best beer in the world. In a blind test I am certain he wouldn't be able to tell which one was the Canadian. It's all about the bottle it comes in.

So I saw a video of a homebrewer using it on the BN forum. Looks promising, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger. Since I can get one for 60 bucks shipped on eBay.

If there is anyone in the UK able to do it that would look like the best bet price wise. Wouldn't want to have someone ship it over and find out it doesn't work.

Has anyone looked into using the guiness surger for homebrew? I feel like if i carbed a beer to the correct level and then poured it slowly the result would have to be the same. The 40 bucks the surger would cost is a huge difference than getting a new tank reg and stout faucet. Just saw this...

Maybe I'm thinking about this wrong but wouldn't the FG be the same? The sugar content in the beer wouldn't change so then you would still get the same gravity. The density likely would be very similar. Maybe not though.

Is the idea here to remove the alcohol? Pretty much distilling and keeping the beer instead of the alcohol? Seems interesting.
