What would you do with a 15g corny?

I have a nice clean 15g corny that I got in a trade. I have no real use for it as I brew at most 5g batches. I suppose I can sit on it for awhile and maybe use it if I ever upgrade to larger batches. But honestly, I dont see that in the near future so I might just end up selling it.

Need an idea of what I need to keg

Thanks for the info. Im curious about the gas line. You say 1/4" but I think the gas barbs are 5/16"? They sell 5/16" hose (red in color) specifically for gas. I suppose I can use either. Seems like the clear 1/4" line is thinner and more pliable but the 5/16" line is thicker.

Need an idea of what I need to keg

I understand the differences with ball/pin and gas/liquid. Its the other stuff that I am not sure about. Good point with less fittings = less opportunities for leaks. :) I was just curious if its easier from the standpoint of disconnecting kegs etc. Thanks billpa

Need an idea of what I need to keg

Thanks. As far as disconnects go, is there one style better than the other? I mean, is the swivel nut style easier to work with then the straight barb? And if I go with a swivel nut style, I would then need a barb with a swivel nut, right? Cheers, billpa

    Has anyone made Sake before?

I know Sake is not technically a wine but thought this would be the best place to post. I would like to make a small batch of Sake and was considering the MoreBeer.com kit as a starter. It seems relatively easy (at least thats what they claim). However, reading about it on the net, it seems a...

Found a cheap kegerator but it wont get cold...

It looks like it comes with a regulator and a tower and a faucet. So I can probably make my money back if I need to.

Found a cheap kegerator but it wont get cold...

Yea...if it is the compressor, the kegerator is useless to me. Any way I can determine the problem if I go check it out (of course without hooking up a new thermostat :D )

Found a cheap kegerator but it wont get cold...

I contacted a guy that was selling a kegerator cheap. I think I can get it as cheap as 50 bucks, 75 at the most. He says it does not get cold though. I asked him if it works at all (gets cool, but not cold) or if it doesnt work. He says it just quit on him one day. When he turns it on, it makes...

The Craigslist score that got away..... :(

You should subscribe to their RSS feed function. When you do a search (for example, the word "beer") scroll down to the bottom of the page and there will be a link that says RSS. You need a browser like Firefox to use it. But basically you click on the RSS link and save it as a live bookmark...

First bottle of my first brew...haze question

So last night I decided to try a bottle of my first batch of brew...an ESB. It was in primary for a week, secondary for a little over 3 weeks and bottle conditioned for one week. I figured it would taste a little young which I believe it does. I think it needs to mellow out a bit but overall I...

Relocating Freezer tray in mini fridge...

Just a side note...the freezer tray was incredibly easy to remove. It had 2 holes on each side lip and all I had to do is remove 4 plastic grommets and slide the tray about half and inch to where it could come off. Im taking extra care as to not F up the line. My only fear is having the tray...

Relocating Freezer tray in mini fridge...

I have a small mini fridge that I would like to put a corny or two in. I can make it if I move the freezer tray. I know many people have bent theirs to make more space. I however, was able to disconnect it from the inside top of the fridge without breaking the line. I have enough room (and line)...
