What does the yeast starter look like???

I got one in a 22ozbottle with airlock. I can see the bubbles in sirlock and its all bubbly in the bottle like pop but not seeing the chunks of yeast like in the fermentor. Am I doing it right or wrong?

To much or to little yeast

Was reading to much yeast and you'll get yeast bite. To little and your beer will not ferment all the way. How do you tell how much to use is you harvest and make a starter??
