Would this work for a beer gas set up?

Purple pale ale with butterfly pea flower

That looks fantastic! I love passion fruit beers too. What did you use for souring?

Purple pale ale with butterfly pea flower

I didn't even think about the effects of ph. That's interesting.

Purple pale ale with butterfly pea flower

I wish I'd kept some notes on that one. The main thing I remember is that it tasted really good. I plan to use it again soon, maybe I'll keep better track next time.

It was a few batches ago, but I thinknit got there quick. Pretty sure I put it in the keg to finish up after a week or so.

Purple pale ale with butterfly pea flower

I really didn't measure. I through a small handful in after the boil, and a pinch in the priming solution. Does that help? Not sure it adds much flavor wise. On its own I think it has a subtle sweetness, so there might be a tiny bit of that going on, but it doesn't add much. I found it while...

Purple pale ale with butterfly pea flower

Alright, I just wanted to share this one. Made this with enigma hops and cosmis punch yeast. Just a basic grain bill. 50/50 2row and vienna. Hopped it at 10 min, flame out, and dry hop, 2 oz each time, and added a handful of butterfly pea flower at flame out, and added more to the priming...

Beer you like but have never brewed?

I've been enjoying the Philly sour yeast instead. I know its not exactly the same, but it makes a nice easy sour.

Beer you like but have never brewed?

I've only done the rice wine with those yeast balls. I always end up dumping it. It seems fun at first, but just can't drink the stuff.

Beer you like but have never brewed?

I know its not exactly how it's supposed to be done, but I've used cal common yeasts when I could lager or didn't have space for it, and it gets pretty dang close. Not sure if that's a route you'd want to go or not, but might be worth looking into.

Beer you like but have never brewed?

Yeah, maybe it's about time I make one. Good call.

Beer you like but have never brewed?

My daughter says that cherry stuff tastes like medicine. I think it turns me off from using them. I've put them in some sours, but nothing else.

Beer you like but have never brewed?

Yeah, I've had some of those too.

Beer you like but have never brewed?

Yesterday I was drinking a scotch ale, and was thinking about how much I enjoy scotch ales, and thought about how I've never brewed one. Has anyone else encountered this? I'll have to put it on the to brew list.
