Making my own system need help

Is there any concern with too much head space if you only have 10gal in the keg for fermentation.

    First batch

I just opened my first bottle it taste good and is carbonated well but I have always heard that home brew will have a sediment at the bottom of the bottle that you don't want to pore into the glass but mine had no sediment at the bottom should I be worried?

Making my own system need help

Also for those out there who have made keggles how big or small of a batch can you do in them? Would I have a hard time brewing a 5gal batch could I expect to brew a 10 gal batch with no problem.

Making my own system need help

My next question is has anyone ever tried treading the keg itself? Example I want to make a fermenter out of a keg I want a thermoprob about half way. You can't do a weld less because you would have to be able to get inside with tools and the top of an uncut keg isn't big enough to get in there...

Making my own system need help

I am making an ebiab out of a keg and a fermenter out of a keg. I want to do an element at the bottom is there any reason I can't do a tri clover out of the bottom like this https://www.brewhardware.com/product_p/sankebdrain5.htm it is just one less hole I have to drill. Then do I need a false...

    Minnesota Keggles

I am building a biab electric system so debate if that bottom drain will work but I like it because it's one less bulkhead I have to install.

    Kegorator build

I just found these http://www.kegconnection.com/pin-valve-regulator-single-guage-5-16-check-valve/?page_context=search&faceted_search=0 has anyone used them do they work well. It's definitely cheaper than a co2 tank. My next question is could you use it for nitrogen? I know they use nitrogen...

My Stirplate... Cheap and Easy Build...

So are you saying to start the plate and then put the flask on. It tries the bar to the side of the flask when I try that. I have never done it intentionally but have done it accidentally.

My Stirplate... Cheap and Easy Build...

Anyone ever have any luck making a stir bar or anyone ever try?

My Stirplate... Cheap and Easy Build...

I start as slow as it will go. But that does not help. I do not know maybe my stir bar has a weak magnate because the mag it's about take a finger off getting to each other but the pull between the stir bar and the magnet is not very strong.

My Stirplate... Cheap and Easy Build...

One last thing glass no water the bar spins fine.

My Stirplate... Cheap and Easy Build...

Okay I got my stir plate together it works kind of. I put my stir bar just on top of the stir plate no glass or water and it spins fine and fast but when I put the stir bar in water and put it on the plate the second I turn it on it just dances no spinning. I thought maybe my magnets were to far...

New way to control Pellet Hop gunk!

So I have gone threw most of this thread and don't see my question but I apologize in advance if it's been asked. Is anyone using this for grain kind of like the basket from a brew-boss? If so how has it worked?
