Why people use secondaries for dry hopping

Because I like to harvest the yeast from the primary without all the hops from the dry hopping.

The guy at the LHBS got pissed-off?

Love my local homebrew shop. Helpful, friendly, ton's of supplies on hand, competitive pricing (unless you're buying in bulk). Even has various craft beers on tap for tasting. Think he is planning to start providing his own beer on tap for tasting too. Chicago Brew Werks in Plainfield.

    C02 Pressure

I switched over from a single to a double tap config on my kegerator recently and in order to do this, I purchased a C02 distributer (with check-valve). I set my lines up correctly, and the beer in my keg carbed up nicely. When I went to pour, it poured slow, which I am OK with. But, when I...

    Enjoying my bud-light

Totally not a troll thread. Maybe a mistake, but I gather it happened all day. Pretty sure it's not old, it may be not great, but it moves off the shelf!

    Enjoying my bud-light

Yes. You read that correctly. I don't even like bud light that much. Wife got it at target where for $.67 per case. Yep, $.03 per beer. Can't turn down a free beer.

    Spicy Beer?

Now that is interesting. I don't think I've heard of MO getting bitter.

    Spicy Beer?

Habanero IPA turned out real good. Kept the bitterness on the low end because it would have been overwhelming with the back end heat. Used centennial hops. Brewing it tonight actually, going to try Maris otter instead of 2-row.
