Supposed to be a kolsch on the left, and the right was meant to be an imperial coffee milk stout. I had issues all brew day on the stout and think it will probably top out at 7%
I try to brew at least 3 out of 4 weekends. At least until I get a huge inventory of different styles. This weekend I will brew an imperial coffee double milk stout. I plan on enjoying it this fall/winter
Wow, what a great beer! Not at all what I expected. I was actually putting off drinking this beer for fear it would be to sweet/heavy. When I see stout I think of Guinness Extra Stout. This was surprisingly grapefruit/chocolate. Excellent
My first batch sat in the covered fermenter over night. I just couldn't get the temp down, got tired and went to bed. Pitched in the morning before work. Beer turned out fine
Started off with a FireWheel Texas Pale Ale, 2nd was a Peticolas Velvet Hammer, (appropriate name for a super smooth imperial double red) and finishing up with Brabo's Cut, a Belgian style dark ale from Lakewood.
